Some of us fears seem hard to shake everyday we hear of new disasters, new threats with the world
seemingly more and more out of control especially in relation to extreme weather events, global warming and the growing financial crisis.

I am not here to talk about religion but in Mathew 24 Jesus states specific things that will occur close to the times. These include Wars, Famines, Earthquakes, Persecutions, and Lawlessness and hardening of Hearts.

Its already happening on our planet. Volcanoes and earthquakes activities has increased in the last years as well as extreme weather, famine and drought, crime rates, the global economy including interest rates and inflation, nuclear activity, drug abuse, civil rights, liberalism and democracy and unemployment.

If we follow the news all we hear is about the global economic crisis, wheat production at a 25 year low, Europe recently hit by worst storm in 17 years and large parts of the Midwest flooded. Norway and Italy hit by its largest ever earthquake and three currently active volcanoes. High levels of unemployment and more than 1 in 100 Americans in jail or prison.

But, no matter how out of control the current situation gets life will survive in some form or another. It just remains to be seen whether we are clever enough and can act fast enough to either stop the situation escalating further or if not adaptable enough to survive to the new conditions we find ourselves facing in the near future.

Life has survived vast changes in the climate from the vast desert of the ancient super continent Pangea to the coldest ice age, the flood and will undoubtedly continue to do so. The question is, ARE YOU GOING TO CHANGE? If we want to survive these vast changes from our Galaxy, our Sun and our Planet Earth we must CHANGE!

So, instead of worrying about the end of the world, currently 2012, we should work together to make the
best of the time we do have on this planet. As well as ensuring we pass it on to the next generation in the same condition as we received it. Why not in a much better condition as we receive it?

So what if anything can I do?

Do your bit, no one can save the world single handedly but you can do your bit, and here I present you the problem and the solution to outcome these major events that are already happening around the planet.

As I mentioned before, do your bit, no one can save the world single handedly but you can do your bit, here are a few suggestions.

Cutting down your carbon footprint by using less electricity, gas, car fuel and water not only helps the environment dramatically but your pocket too by reducing bills. This doesnt mean changing your lifestyle just simple measures such as ensuring your turn off items instead of leaving them on standby.

One way you can cut down carbon footprint is by using the Sun and Wind resources to produce free electricity. Installing one solar panel has the same environmental benefits as not driving your car for 2400 miles or planting a half an acre of trees! Wind turbines can be another way to power combine with the Sun and is very inexpensive to build.

Electric car has been around since the beginning of the 1900s and we have the technology to convert your car to run on 100% electric but the the Gas company don’t want you to know about it.

Donate unwanted items or money to charities, simple measures which benefit those in need. Many of us have the garage or closets full of unwanted items that we dont use anymore. While there are many people in need for those items that are sitting in your garage or closets.

Being a conscientious shopper by knowing where and how the items you buy are produced. Remember every item you buy has a carbon footprint. Buy local products where possible, make sure the product is produced sustainably, ethically and in an environmentally friendly way.

Recycling, stops the world resources being unnecessarily used up and isnt as difficult as it seems look out recycling symbols on packaging and familiarized yourself with your local areas recycling system and facilities.

Working to pay off debts, this benefits you, as you arent wasting money on interest payments. Being in control of your finances reducing stress, fears and makes the banks more confident.
