Oil companies continue to rape Americans to the tune of $15 billion in profit this quarter while auto manufacturers want billions of your bailout money. So, America makes crappy cars that only act as conduits to the profits of Oil Companies and when they need money they come to us instead of the filthy rich oil companies? No way.

where do you live that people who work more than 10 yrs in a professional field dont make atleast $30.00 an hour, or a salary equivalent to that. the cost of living here in North Texas alone constitutes 50k plus for a household income.

If U.S. automakers …
If U.S. automakers didn’t pay their workers an average of $29.25 per hour (plus pensions and benefits) to make gas-guzzling junk cars, then they wouldn’t need our tax money. Most Americans don’t make anywhere near $29.25 per hour–so why should we hand over our money to auto workers? Perhaps the oil companies can lend or give the car companies the money since they depend on each other.
