I’m moving and was wondering when I disconnect my gas can it be transfer to my new place right away without doing any new paperwork (besides address change) and pay another deposit fee? Or will I have to start everything over in order to get gas at my new place.
If the same provider gives service in the old & new area you may not have to pay a new deposit, but you will have to pay a shut off & turn on fee since they go to the property to do that.

You can move it over to the new billing address. There will be a new connection fee. Just a phone call away. As long as you are still within the same gas and electric company`s distric.

depends on if the same firm deals in both old and new areas.
i have not been able to get one to not charge a fee. They
must ring every penny from everyone to make the CEO
happy. pooh!
