I have a Ford 8N tractor and I was wondering if there is a rule of thumb for how often the hydraulic oil should be changed. When I use this tractor I tend to be using the hydraulics. I put about 100-200 hours a year on this tractor. Also is there is a rule of thumb for how often the oil should be changed?
Provided that the oil is only used for the hydraulic system unlike other tractors which use transmission oil for hydraulic operations then oil change intreval is 1000 working unit hours and it is better to change it if the color of the oil has changed.
