I have less than 30 days left in my contract. I want to cancel my delivery. My oil company says canceling the delivery constitutes canceling my contract and I would owe them a $399 early termination fee. I read the contract and I don’t see anything which says that I must accept all deliveries, nor do I see anything that says a delivery cancellation is the equivalent to a contract termination. I live in Nassau County in New York State. Please help!
I don’t live in NY. Here, I would contact the State Attorney General’s Office Department of Consumer Affairs. NY must have a counterpart with, perhaps, a slightly different name.

Ask where in your contract does it say that. If it doesn’t then it doesn’t!
