Csere is just another one of those people that talks longest and loudest. Doesn’t make him right. And look at all the comments to the video. Suddenly it’s about race! I want to clarify …
I want to clarify my statement, I wasn’t as clear as I should have been. I was replying to bg1379, specifically his comment that the construction of the tire would have no impact on the PSI relating to gas mileage. I didn’t mean to imply that the differences in types of tires would affect the statistics. I’m just trying to say that tires are built differently, and that certain degrees of PSI would alter your gas mileage differently depending on the type of tire. I’m sorry for the confusion.

That only shows how little you know about automotive engineering. You may be the statistician you claim to be, but you sure as don’t have a solid grasp on the science of tires and how they relate to the cars riding on them.
Sometimes silly questions deserve silly answers: Csere was merely giving the most optimistic of views here to give the audience an idea of just how ridiculous Obama’s suggestion is. Even with completely impossible pie-in-the-sky numbers, it’s a stupid claim. Period.
