I'm glad this ...
I'm glad this worked out for you. Unfortunately I tried the exact same mixture you did and I did get insane curl definition on my mostly 4b hair but I also got totally STRIPPED hair. Now I did shampoo prior to applying it because I had a really dirty scalp so maybe that had something to do with it. I've done a co-wash and ACV rinse since and my hair still feels like straw. I'm not sure how to fix this; right now I'm just keeping it simple with water and plain coconut oil.

love this... I have ...
love this... I have always use baking soda to clarify and then put my deep conditioner right over it without rinsing, and I never understood why it made my hair so soft! Definitely much different from rinsing in between the two. I just did it your way today and it smelled like a perm, yikes lol but did not act like one. Thanks

no offense ... but ...
no offense ... but why would you try something like this again if it took your hair out? maybe it just doesn't work for you. i've learned thru my journey that what works for some doesnt work for everyone. i ALMOST thought about trying this, but after reading your comment... i'm scared. sorry about your hair loss.....

Um no. Baking soda ...
Um no. Baking soda is good for washing hair. It's actually SULFATES that dry the hair out. And that is in normal shampoo. Hence, why people use baking soda......
