This is also from March 7, I drove the car on 120 volts, but I don’t think the controller is big enough (the car now goes about 45mph, 75kmh). I’ll probably be updating to a Kelly KDH12600B or KDH12800B High Power Controller.

Like some other say you should not charge batteries if the controller is connected, you should have some kind of switch to disable the controller while charging, you can damage your controller, I think its what append in your case

My Kelly is rated …
My Kelly is rated at 400 amps, but the rating on this controller is like 400 amp boost for 1 min or so. I think your Curtis is rated for continuous use? Anyhow, the Kelly cannot be returned for cash any longer, because it’s been over a month, but I can return it in exchange for a better one and only pay the difference. I think I’ve got my chargers working properly, but you should still do the video (I’m a curious guy) Man, I couldn’t believe Gav’s new video-it’s terrible! Wish I could help.

hey kyle. nice work mate! how many amps is your controller rated at? the curtis one that i use is 500amps. it taks about 140amps to stay at 100km/h but it takes about 250-300amps to get there. maybe your right and yours is just a little small. but awesome job mate! i’ve been a bit slack this weekend its raining for the first time in about 8 years here so i’ll post the vid on the charger tomorrow for you! isn’t it bad to hear about gavs mitsubishi?
