Tests performed by Ford Motor Company show that motorists coached by eco-driving experts can significantly improve the fuel economy performance of their cars, trucks or SUVs. The Sports Car Club of America verified the results, which showed an average 24 percent improvement in fuel economy as a result of hands-on eco-driving training.

Let’s start with Ultra Liberal Number One. Obama said; “I think that I would have preferred a gradual adjustment. The fact that this is such a shock to American pocketbooks is not a good thing. But if we take some steps right now to help people make the adjustment, first of all by putting more money in their pockets, but also by encouraging the market to adapt to these new circumstances more rapidly, particularly U.S. automakers…”.

The Democrats have always wanted to tax gas up to its current price; they just never had the guts. That’s why they’ll just around and act like they’re doing something to lower gas prices, when in reality, they love it, it’s their dream come true. I’m sure everyone knows why the Democrats want the high gas prices; it’s to encourage alternate forms of energy and transportation. But I think they can’t help themselves it’s just because they love to raise taxes, and they want so badly to be like the Europeans. Apparently they have no concern for the hard working Americans who are going broke in the process.

I’m tied of their lame excuses for not drilling for oil. They tell us that drilling for more oil will not help our circumstances. Yes it will. The first thing that it will do, if the World believes we are serious about massively extracting our own oil reserves, is have an effect on the speculators who are driving up the price of oil. They will no longer see such a bleak picture of future supplies. But even if this does not happen, what’s wrong with us using our own oil, and keeping our own money, in our own country? Our trade deficit is bad enough. They say; oh if we start now, we won’t see any results for ten years. That’s what they’ve been saying for the last ten years; let’s get this show on the road.

When the Democrats were still in the minority, Americans were paying $2.91 a gallon on average for gasoline. At the time, Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) promised “a commonsense plan to help bring down skyrocketing gas prices by cracking down on price gouging, rolling back the billions of dollars in taxpayer subsidies, tax breaks and royalty relief given to big oil and gas companies, and increasing production of alternative fuels.” This is standard boilerplate for liberal politicians when Americans complain about gas prices: blame Big Oil greed for high gas prices and promise that big government investment in alternative fuels will save the day.

Now that Democrats have been in power for 18 months, the average national cost for a gallon of gasoline is over $4 and the only change in Pelosi’s policy has been to add OPEC to her list of people to blame. Nobody seriously believes that any of these policies are capable of reducing gas prices in the short term. OPEC countries are not about to start pumping more oil because Pelosi says so, and even the New York Times openly mocked the House investigations on oil market manipulation.

The other items on the liberal gas-price-lowering agenda–increasing oil company taxes and mandating biofuel use–only increase the price of gas. Raising taxes on the cost of capital for oil production decreases supply and raises prices. In the short term, tax-paying corporations tend to recoup increased tax payments in the form of higher retail prices. The billions of dollars necessary to build the infrastructure to meet the more than doubling of the biofuels mandate also can only raise the price at the pump today. Now liberals in the Senate want to institute a Hugo Chavez-like windfall profits tax, a policy that only raised energy prices in the 1970s under Jimmy Carter.

But Dems keep encouraging the delusion that high fossil energy prices–particularly gas prices–are some sort of weird aberration resulting from the greed of oil executives or Saudi intransigence. They keep encouraging the delusion that with a few policy gimmicks we can bring those prices back down. … As long as Americans think that energy prices might go back down at any moment–that the cheap-energy good times of the ’90s are but a “windfall profits tax” away–they won’t support a policy they’re told will increase those prices. They need to be told the truth.

Roberts is right. Americans need to be told the truth. Liberals in Congress have been fighting to raise the price of gas for years. According to Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), the daily oil production from the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge would reduce the price of gasoline by 50 cents. Liberals in the White House and Congress have been blocking the development of this oil for more than a decade now. Billions of barrels of oil in Colorado, Utah and Wyoming have also been restricted, not to mention the billions more denied from offshore drilling.

A gas station clerk is upset that he was fired after he was robbed.

Nick, who didn’t want his last name used, was working at the Phillips 66 station on 69th Street just west of Interstate 35 in Merriam.

Surveillance tape from Saturday morning showed an armed robber entering the store and demanding money.

“I gave the guy the money. I didn’t want to get shot,” Nick told KMBC’s Micheal Mahoney.

The store’s policy is to never have more than $50 in the open register. Bills larger than $20 are supposed to be immediately placed into another vault.

“I mean, there was a lady who came in to fill up two vehicles — $100 altogether. That’s two $50s right there,” Nick said.

Nick said that when the robber approached, he was in the process of dropping those big bills into the other vault. He said he thinks the robber saw the bills and demanded those, too.

“I didn’t have the time to put the money in the bill acceptor,” Nick said.

The robber fled the store with $200, which is $150 more than the company rules allow to be in the till.

“So, basically, I got fired because a billion-dollar company loses $200,” Nick said.

Conoco Phillips won’t comment on the specifics, but it said safety is the No. 1 priority. A company representative said there are established guidelines that must be followed to ensure safe practices on the job.

Nick said he is trying to find another job.

To everyone watching this video regarding the vacuum valve sensor. The vacuum valve sensor must not get any water inside where the diaphragm is operating or it will keep it in the on position. The diaphragm is a very sensitive rubber piece and water between the case and the diaphragm will keep it in a on position. It is recommended to put it in a enclosed container watertight. I found this out when I had the device setting on the outside of the car testing it and I decided to wash the inside of the engine area with the car in the off position and seen it working still. This vacuum valve was designed for a furnace in a dry environment and I recommend for everyone using one keep it dry.

Regarding the furnace vacuum diaphragm after a period of running the furnace vacuum diaphragm it is such a sensitive unit that a hole developed in the diaphragm causing a vacuum leak. This diaphragm on the furnace vacuum valve is a very thin film around the diaphragm plate inside. I found a company that manufactures vacuum switches designed for automobiles that should arrive at my door on November 12, 2008. When the automobile is on idle this is where the vacuum is at its highest point and if the diaphragm can not handle the intense vacuum it will develop a whole in the diaphragm membrane. I received my O2 sensor box and using it by it’s self on my automobile I have improved my gas mileage from 30-32 Highway to 36-39 Highway until the old furnace diaphragm got a hole in it and then I seen a reduction. I will being doing another test when the new vacuum switch that is designed for the automobile arrived and I would do another O2 sensor box road test. The O2 sensor box controls the manifold O2 sensor and the catalytic converter O2 sensor on the exhaust system. After running a test on the O2 sensor box and showing it on video. I will be adding the hydrogen & oxygen generator back onto the car and showing them running together with additional improvements to the generator because of the winner season arriving in Michigan.

Beware of other individuals selling hydrogen oxygen machines without safety being a number one issue. As you see in my experimental videos, I keep speaking about safety over and over because it is very important to everyone dealing with HHO gas. HHO gas is extremely explosive and if a Manufacturer cannot show you a video demonstrating their safeties beware of what you buy. This video you are watching shows my complete system on the vehicle. Before it was put on the car all testing was done off the car assuring you that the safeties do work as I state. Watch the other videos that are posted close to the date of posting of this video for all the tests that were done. Nothing is 100% but it is better than nothing.

This is the 400 HP Snow as seen running at the Florida Flywheelers Swap Meet on Friday, January 16, 2009.

It was built by the F.S.Snow Engine Company of Buffalo, NY in 1914. It is a double acting in-line 2 cylinder 4 stroke engine with a 20 inch bore and 36 inch stroke. That is over 45,000 cubic inches displacement and it runs at 120 r.p.m. The flywheel is 12 feet in diameter, weighing 12 tons. Cooling water is circulated through the connecting rod to the pistons and the valves are also water cooled. This engine was used to pump natural gas from wells to suppliers.
