Collectible Brochures

Old Brochures that you really want!

There are many variations of passages of Lorem Ipsum available, but the majority have suffered alteration in some form, by injected humour, or randomised words which don't look even slightly believable. If you are going to use a passage of Lorem Ipsum, you need to be sure there isn't anything embarrassing hidden in the middle of text. All the Lorem Ipsum generators on the Internet tend to repeat predefined chunks as necessary, making this the first true generator on the Internet.

Blast rocks quiet Easton neighborhood

Blast rocks quiet Easton neighborhood
By Vicki-Ann Downing
ENTERPRISE STAFF WRITER
EASTON — Keith Muise was just opening a can of paint in a house on Jenny Lind Street on Monday morning when he saw a yellow flash and heard an explosion that rocked the building and knocked out the windows around him.
Muise ran outside. Next door, the white house at 39 Jenny Lind St., at the corner of Seaver Street, lay in ruins. It looked like the first floor had exploded and the rest of the house had fallen on top of it, said Muise, 39.
One young man, a student at Stonehill College, was lying on the grass, Muise said. Two others were crawling out of the rubble. They wanted to go back inside to search for belongings, Muise said.
He joined others in pushing the students to safety minutes before a second explosion resounded and caused the ruined house to burst into flames.
“I can’t believe those kids were able to crawl out of there the way they did,” a shaken Muise said. “I was amazed. No one went in there (to rescue them). There wasn’t time for anybody to get in there.”
The blast, at 11:09 a.m., was felt for blocks. It destroyed a rental house owned by Robert and Jennifer Lincoln of Seaver Street and sent seven people, including four Stonehill students, two gas company workers and a police officer working a private detail, to area hospitals.
Bob Hennessey, 50, of Hanson, a contractor working at a house across Seaver Street, reported hearing “a big whoosh” before the explosion.
“I just ran down the driveway yelling, ‘There’s kids in there,’” Hennessey said. “I was so worried because I saw people dropping their kids off at that house on Labor Day weekend. I thought we had a major tragedy on our hands.”
At the back of the ruined house, Hennessey saw a fourth student trapped amid debris and helped to pull him out, he said. Moments later, a second explosion ignited a fire that sent curls of burning material throughout the thickly settled neighborhood, located behind Immaculate Conception Church in North Easton.
Police Chief Thomas F. Kominsky said he arrived five minutes after the explosion and found the scene so hot he could not get within 150 feet of it.
“It really is a miracle” the students survived, said the Rev. John Denning, vice president for student affairs at Stonehill, who surveyed the scene Monday with Stonehill President Mark T. Cregan.
Injured were Matthew Tarulli, 19, a junior football player from Saddle Brook, N.J.; Nick Balsamo, 21, and Daniel Kavanaugh, 21, both of Wallingford, Conn.; and John Hurley, 21, whose hometown could not be determined.
Balsamo, Kavanaugh and Hurley were released Monday afternoon after treatment at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. Tarulli was admitted to Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, but expected to be released by today, said Cregan, who visited him.
Two other students who also rented the four-bedroom apartment house were on campus when the explosion occurred.
One, Rob Gilbreth, 20, a junior from Franklin, N.H., who returned to the scene, said the students lost everything, including thousands of dollars in clothing and two plasma televisions.
The college was working to find housing for the students and to provide them with stipends to buy needed items.
Don DiNunno, a spokesman for Bay State Gas. Co., said the work on Seaver Street was part of “an aggressive program” to replace older gas mains. Crews have been replacing lines in Easton all summer.
On Monday morning, four workers from a Bay State Gas Co. subcontractor were on Seaver Street, tying the new main into each home, including the one that exploded, DiNunno said.
A Bay State Gas Co. employee was also moving the home’s gas meter from the basement to the outdoors, DiNunno said.
Both the Bay State Gas employee and a subcontractor working in the trench were injured, said DiNunno, who did not provide their names. The subcontractor was believed to be at a Boston hospital.
DiNunno said the cause of the explosion will not be known until investigators from the state Fire Marshal’s office, the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration and local officials complete their review.
Two police officers were injured, said Kominsky. Leonard Coe, who was working a paid detail for Bay State Gas, eventually was sent to the hospital for treatment, Kominsky said. The other, Lonnie Ataman, was injured when responding.

2009 YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK EARTHQUAKES AND POISONOUS GAS ADVISORY NEAR SUPERVOLCANO

Posted by: admin | Posted in: Uncategorized

2009 a Potential State of Emergency could exist for Yellowstone National Park which has had over 252 earthquakes in the last five days of 2008. Chris Sanders the President of The Gas Company who is also a geologist has been tracking the possible eruption of this super volcano for the last few months. Now January 1, 2009 Chris is advising that all people visiting and volunteering at Yellowstone National Park leave immediately. The earthquakes could release poisonous gasses that could kill someone or a group in a breathe. “I would rather be wrong than right on this one since this supervolcano once ended life 1.3 million , 2.2 million and 640,000 years ago. It should annihilate a radius over 300 square miles minimum when it goes off. The time is unknown and this report is not meant to bring anyone into a panic. It is a part of a one hour with great gaps of footage out. Plus all of our technology in place is showing magma moving towards the surface causing movement and earthquakes everywhere” More information can be learned at www.usgs.gov – why they have not issued an emergency is why I am posting this video.
