I didnt get too many videos of up there, but my Bolens was one of the show tractors and i ran it from Monday-Sunday in the parade and drove it around showing it off hours each day. It would have had the foot throttle if i would have started working on it a day before i did, but at least the straight pipes were on it.

This is the 400 HP Snow as seen running at the Florida Flywheelers Swap Meet on Friday, January 16, 2009.
It was built by the F.S.Snow Engine Company of Buffalo, NY in 1914. It is a double acting in-line 2 cylinder 4 stroke engine with a 20 inch bore and 36 inch stroke. That is over 45,000 cubic inches displacement and it runs at 120 r.p.m. The flywheel is 12 feet in diameter, weighing 12 tons. Cooling water is circulated through the connecting rod to the pistons and the valves are also water cooled. This engine was used to pump natural gas from wells to suppliers.

Here I created a interesting video that I turned into a computer screensaver. I wanted to give the viewer the illusion of being drawn back in time. Perhaps you are a child standing on the side of a country road watching cars parade past you, wishing you could hop in one and take a ride. It could almost be a scene from a movie like “Somewhere In Time”

As shown at the Brooks, Oregon Engine Show, this 200 HP Western Machine Co. engine was manufactured in 1928 in Los Angeles, Calif. and was used to pump water near Riverside, Calif. There were two of these engines setting side by side each pumping 2000 Gal. per minute over a 400 foot high hill, 8 miles into 7,500 acres of citrus orchards in Riverside County. These engines ran from the time of installation until the late 50’s when they were placed on stand by. They ran again in 1988 for two weeks straight while the company switched from combustion engines to electric pumps. All of this with only one repair to the cylinder sometime in the mid 40’s! Wayne Thackery owns this particular engine and has the original sale receipt. It sold for $8,850.00 installed.

Get a feel for the “golden oldie” days of agriculture at the 31st Annual Camp Creek Threshers Antique Machinery and Threshing Show. This DVD contains video and photographs of Farmall, International Harvester, and John Deere tractors, water pumps, a saw mill, a corn sheller, balers, steam engines, a miniature railroad, and other antique farm equipment. This years theme was Farmall, but there are many other models of tractors in the show.
What show would be complete without a good old-fashioned threshing demonstration? From the 1800’s to the early 1900’s this was the way that the grain was harvested from the plant. An outfit would consist of a threshing machine and a separate tractor to power it. Wheat, oats, and other crops were fed into the threshing machine by hand and pitchfork where the grain was separated from the rest of the plant.
John Deere, McCormick Deering, Allis Chalmers, Case, Rumely, Minneapolis-Moline, American Harvester, Oliver, Catepiller, and others can be seen. Several hundred gas tractors and crawlers and several steam engines can be seen in action each year. These are the tractors that ushered in modern farming to the United States. Besides the many pieces of equipment to be powered by these great machines there is also the daily parade of power which is always a great crowd pleaser.
This DVD contains 3 videos. The exhibits video is 15 minutes long. The tractor show is 30 minutes long, and the slide show is 5 minutes long. That’s a total of 50 minutes of video footage.
